I used MBAM to remove a nasty AntiVirus XP 2009 infection, Thank you very much, but still have a problem with IE 7 and FireFox.

IE 7 will not start, I get the hourglass for a few seconds and then it dies. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. I tried upgrading to the IE 8 beta but it continually crashes with a memory error.

FireFox 3.01 continually crashes when accessing sites.

I tried WinSockFix and LSPFix, neither helped.

Chrome and Safari seem to work but my wife and kids are used to using FireFox and my bank used IE specific software so I really need them.

Well it could be that you're still infected with one or more instances of malware.
