Hello all.
I had the joy of Zlob and self-replicating worms last/this week. I found MBAM after purchasing other programs that offered only limited benefit. I am impressed with MBAM, and will purchase your system.....but I ran into a curious finding. My most recent full scan with MBAM shows "zero" everywhere (and there was much rejoicing). HJK shows nothing unusual (to my very untrained eye, however). The odd part is that Spyware Doctor with Anti-virus (ran AFTER those) showed:
Rogue Anti-Spyare.AntiSpyCheck HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List, C:\ProgramFiles\ASpyC.exe
Trojan-Downloader.Zlob.Gen and Trojan.Virtumonde
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1377587462-1623373947-4152686580-1007\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\Stats\{0BD44AB1-76A7-4E05-92F4-4B065FE72BD6}\iexplore, Type.......Flags........Count........Time
Needless to say, I had those fixed.
I have not let that computer have internet access, because when I did so two days ago (thinking I was "clean enough") that was when the worms infected....and I had to start repairs all over again.
By-the-way, I currently have Norton 2006 with full updates, SpySweeper with Anti-virus, Spyware Doctor with Anti-virus, and SpyHunter3. I only have so many, because each helped in ways the others werent......and THEN I found MBAM. As I said above, I plan on getting your paid service (I was quite impressed). I dont need to keep all of those. Which do you see as being the most valuable, or do you recommend something else? Not that I really WANT to spend more money!!
And when can I feel safe to access the internet on that computer?
Thanks.

In the past i also had about 10 security programs on my computer, but nowadays i reduced them. Antivirus: I would recommend AVG 8.0 Free (Ewido included) or Avira Free (sometimes update problems). Antispyware: I would recommend MBAM and Spybot. Some users like Superantispyware but i don't like the GUI - it looks like a rogue

The two entries you found were traces currently not in our net , I think one of them will be added , not sure about the other yet .
"Safe" is a term that we can never say for sure on . One type of person could be "safe" with next to no security and another could infect through the best of the best in terms of software .
Its all about surfing habits and how many users a PC has . Strike the right balance and you will neither have malware nor system slowdown for to many security apps .
