I ran into this set of directions and a few references to similar cases of MBAM not working right with Vista and requiring a reinstall

Users with Windows Vista OS :

* To make sure that Navilog1 works correctly, it is recommended to disable your UAC (User Agent Control) during installation and use of Navilog1. Don't forget to re-enable it after you've finished to use Navilog1.

* Each time you run Navilog1, please do the following : Right-click on the Navilog1 shortcut and choose "Run as Administrator".

Pardon me I haven't noticed much on this subject, damn Vista

MBAM works on Vista just fine. It asks for admin priviliges before executing.
