I just want to say that the help I have received here has helped immensely.
My friend's son's system got infected with an antivirus2008 infection that was really hard to remove.
I took the system up to my apartment and by going through the removal process involving SDFix and BleepingComputer and the help here I was able to remove that despicable underhanded infection.
I would use other &NastyWords to describe this malicious invasion of the Internet but I don't want to sink to their level of "Advertising Executive"
I had to put SFDFix on a Flash card so that I could run it on his system because there was NO WAY I could download it on his system without massive pop ups and other distractions.
I'm glad I did not eat any Maple Leaf Foods cold cuts lately.
By the way, even after I removed the infection I ran MBAM after an update and it still found one item to remove.
