Can anyone explain why a Malwarebytes.exe file runs on startup when using the trial version, which doesn't include realtime protection?

Dennis,
If it is mbam.exe, it is to cleanup any remaining viruses you may have had. Have you removed anything using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware in the past?

Yes I removed some items & did a restart.My virus checker warned me of this .exe, so I was interested to know what it was.
