Hi
I have confusion about my system security ..or i can say like this way if this is enough what im using for my system protection.
Here what im using:
Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 ( I turned off Win Vista Firewall)
Host man (Hphost +Mvvps hostfile)
SuperAntispyware (real Time protection)( Windows defender turned off)
Malwarebytes( I like it (Simple Fast and do all job very nice way)but this is very disappointing ( for me )its not supporting yet real time protection or Auto Update in Win Vista 64 bit)
Site advisor WOT
Any suggestions or Idea!!
Regards
Sami

Good enough security setup
Some little info: Either choose MBAM or SAS for real-time, do not use both!
Additional notes: consider using alternative browser, you do not mention this. Using Firefox/Opera/even Safari can lessen the chances of getting infection through drive-by downloads. As IE is the most used and thus the most targeted browser.

Try adding NoScript and AdBlockPlus to Firefox for increased security.
Here are some free programs I recommend that could help you improve your computer's security.
Spybot Search and Destroy
Download it from here. Just choose a mirror and off you go.
Find here the tutorial on how to use Spybot properly here
Install SpyWare Blaster.
Download it from here
Find here the tutorial on how to use Spyware Blaster here
Install WinPatrol
Download it from here
Here you can find information about how WinPatrol works here
Install FireTrust SiteHound
You can find information and download it from here
Install MVPS Hosts File from here
The MVPS Hosts file replaces your current HOSTS file with one containing well known ad sites etc. Basically, this prevents your computer from connecting to those sites by redirecting them to 127.0.0.1 which is your local computer.
You can find a tutorial here : http://www.mvps.org/...p2002/hosts.htm
Update your Antivirus programs and other security products regularly to avoid new threats that could infect your system.
You can use one of these sites to check if any updates are needed for your pc.
Secunia Software Inspector
F-secure Health Check
Visit Microsoft often to get the latest updates for your computer.
http://www.update.microsoft.com
Note 1: If you are running Windows XP SP2, you should upgrade to SP3.
Note 2: Users of Norton Internet Security 2008 should uninstall the software before they install Service Pack 3.
The security suite can then be reinstalled afterwards.
The windows firewall is not sufficient to protect your system. It doesn't monitor outgoing traffic and this is a must. I recommend Online Armor Free
A little outdated but good reading on how to prevent Malware
Keep safe online and happy surfing.

I prefer Web of Trust ( WoT ) instead of SiteHound:

I like their video:

I'm a devout WinPatrol PLUS user and I even have the t-shirt:
