Thanks to Malwarebytes, I've recently gotten rid of XP Antivirus 2008, but I have been unable to restore connectivity to my wireless router. I just went to Control Panel, Performance and Maintenance, System, Hardware tab, Device Manager. From there, I can see a list and under Network Adapters, the icon for Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter has a yellow circle with an exclamation point. If I right-click and go to Properties, under Device Status is says:
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.
When I click on Troubleshoot, it sends me to help and support center, which is just a blank screen with a search box. Any idea how to repair this?

Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling it?
Which brand do you have?

I went out to the Gateway website, and I was able to download a driver, and now I'm back up and running. Looks like all the effects of Antivirus XP 2008 are now gone. Thanks!
