After working flawlessly on my W7 x 32 computer for a few days, the MBAM Icon has been corrupted. No other symptoms. Comuter restart did't fix it. Uninstall/Reinstall MBAM did fix it.

See image.

This is a common issue on Windows 7. It's icon cache is easily corrupted. If it happens again, I can write out some instructions on how to fix it without reinstalling.

OK Thanks GT500 - I would like to know how to fix this in future - is it as simple as deleting the IconCache.db file and rebooting?

You don't even have to reboot. Just open Task Manager, kill explorer.exe, use the 'Run' option to launch cmd.exe, navigate to the following directory:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local

This is the easy command to get you there fast:
CD %LOCALAPPDATA%

And then just delete IconCache.db with the following command:
DEL IconCache.db

Then close the command prompt, and use the 'Run' option to launch explorer.exe again, and the icon cache should be rebuilt. :D

Well the MBAM icon corrupted again. No other icons are affected. I fixed it this time by changing the MBAM icon to something else then back again.

Something wierd is happening that only affects MBAM 1.5

I personally have not seen any icon cache corruption happen with MBAM 1.50 on Windows 7 in any of my testing or day-to-day use, and no one else is reporting it, so I don't think it's specifically a problem with MBAM. Icon cache corruption usually happens on Windows 7 (and it is quite common) right after you install a program (almost every time I install Notepad++ at least one of my icons gets corrupted in the icon cache), or after you manually change an icon.

If it happens again, then make a note of what you were doing when it happened, and if any programs on your computer were doing anything when it happened.
