I've downloaded mbam-setup.exe from a few different sources, and none of them seem to install. And what I mean by that is I double click(tried right click too) to run, and nothing happens.

I've got that nasty go.google browser hijack thing.

I'm runing XP, and I'm not sure what other information you'd want.

Try renaming the file to TEST.EXE and see if it will install.

If that doesn't work then try running a HJT scan and post the log.
Update TrendMicro™ HijackThis™
You need to download and install the latest version 2.0.2
 • Download HJTInstall.exe to your desktop.
 • Doubleclick HJTInstall.exe to install HijackThis.
 • By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis .
 • It will create a HijackThis icon on your desktop.
 • Once installed, it will launch HijackThis.
 • Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in Notepad. Include this log in your next reply.
That worked, thanks for your help. As an added bonus, the virus was wiped out too. :]
