I don't think that would work because this setting would likely have to apply to all scheduled items (ie, scans and updates), and since a scan doesn't depend on your network connection, a flat 5 minute delay should be sufficient. Also, I don't believe I've ever encountered a connection that took more than 5 minutes after boot to connect.

True.

By the way I discovered the option to update "on boot" which works perfect, only
have to followup if the update is made before a sheduled scan...
