I believe as a result of my daughter clicking on a rogue email from Facebook a laptop appears to have become infected with something. The obvious symptom is that Google, etc., searches in Firefox are hijacked. This was first redirected to a site called searchtubez.com and when this was removed from amongst the cookies by freesearchway.com. I used malwarebytes which cleared a load of Zlob related stuff out but, every time on load, freesearhway.com re-establishes itself in the cookies list and hijacks any searches. If you then do another search that is then directed to the correct search engine.

I can find nothing about either of these hijackers on the net and would love to know:

1. How to get rid of them; and
2. If the laptop has been affected in any other way?
