When I do a fullscan with malwarebytes it always freezes when it hits vsmon.exe in ZoneAlarm folder. Is there away to exclude files from full scan?

Unfortunately I don't believe there is a way to exclude a file, however I seem to remember hearing something about Malwarebytes having issues with ZoneAlarm on some PC's. Hopefully one of the mods will get with you on this to provide more assistance and details. Don't give up, though as the experts here should be able to get you fixed up.

If it was flagged as malware, you could whitelist it. What portion of the scan does it hit ZA?

Malwarebytes is scanning files and when it hits the Zone Alarm folder and vsmon.exe file it simply freezes.

There have been some issues recently with ZoneAlarm. Let me check and see if anyone was able to come up with any solid information on this and get back to you.

Hello

I've just installed ZA and done a full scan, there was no freeze.

Well I might just add that Malwarebytes isn't the only program that has problems scanning vsmon.exe in ZA folder.....my virus Avast! also had the problem....if anybody has any ideas I would welcome them.....and also an ignore list for scans would be nice feature don't you think =)
