MBAM unusable

Recommended Posts

I've attached the GMER, Defogger and Attach logs but the GMER Rootkit Scanner didn't scan. When I unchecked the boxes as directed and clicked scan, it just disappeared just like MBAM when I tried to run it also.

I am also adding the rkill utility logs, which I ran several times killing multiple processes. Still, though, unable to run MBAM.

Welcome to the forum, you have some real nasty malware on the system..lets see if we can fix it.

Open Device Manager (right click My Computer > properties > hardware > device manager)

Expand "System Devices" (click on the +)

Look for something like this: [cmz vmkd] Virtual Bus (and any other odd looking devices)

Right click "[cmz vmkd] Virtual Bus" (or similar) choose "Disable"

Let me know if it's there, MrC
