I am a true novice when it comes to this type of problem...Redirect virus is making me want to cuss.....I have ran malware bytes, one care, etc.. and the redirect continues.....Can anyone help a novice get this crap off my computer without me losing some important school work I have saved on it?

Please don't attach the scan results, use Copy/Paste


DO NOT use any TOOLS such as Combofix or HijackThis fixes without supervision.

Doing so could make your pc inoperatible and could require a full reinstall of your OS, losing all your programs and data.

Vista and Windows 7 users:
1. These tools MUST be run from the executable. (.exe) every time you run them
2. With Admin Rights (Right click, choose "Run as Administrator")

Stay with this topic until I give you the all clean post.

You might want to print these instructions out.


Download aswMBR.exe ( 511KB ) to your desktop.

Double click the aswMBR.exe to run it


Click the "Scan" button to start scan



On completion of the scan click save log, save it to your desktop and post in your next reply

Thanks for the feedback and please bare with me on this...How do i download aswMBR.exe if I cannot get to it through google search due to the redirect issue? Do you have a direct link I can go through you can send me?

Can you Right Click on the link and select Save As and save it to your desktop?
