Ok, so my step-dad downloaded pro antispyware 2009 thinking he was doing a good thing for his and my mom's computer. I did a lot of reading, and research,downlading etc. on my clean computer.(if it matters he did not "purchase" it, I noticed what he was doing before he had a chance) and I got most of it removed by first using avira rescue disc, then using malbytes anti-malware, and also super antispyware. I no longer get fake popups about viruses on his computer. and I no longer get pop-up ads. I have removed every rogue antispyware detected on his PC. However here comes the problem. There seems to be a vundo trojan attatched to this. When I search it with S*PERAntiSpyware it shows 35 vundo objects, and I say remove, and it says it has to rebooot, and it reboots, and then i scan again, and it is still there. the problem with this vundo is its blocking me from accessing anysite that has anything to do with antispyware/AV. so I cant update virus definitions or anything. I also cant open some programs like hijack this without renaming them. Now I will not lie I am a COMPLETE AV n00b! so any help I can get would be massively appreciated. I have literally put 33 hours of labor into this thus far, and am so close, but need to fix this last part with the vundos. I hope I did the hijack this properly. (oh, and I also did run ad-aware 2008, and tried deleting the TIF and cookies)
