Ran a scan on XP machine using ver 1.31 and quarantined 172 objects.
Desk top shortcuts are not working and menu items in start button disappeared.
How to restore shortcuts and Program List in start button without restoring all the
quarantined items?

Greetings LAK, and welcome. There is probably some leftover malware trying to protect itself by crashing explorer.exe. Please be sure not to install any software or use any removal/scanning tools exept those that you are instructed to by the expert who will be assisting you as doing so can make their job much more difficult. I hope I was helpful. Good luck and safe surfing.
