Well problem here was this was clean install of MBAM so it hit on securitywonks server first.
So it would be a good idea to check malwarebytes server too which is what I did and found the issue.

No problem and I'm not recommending a redirect for the general public (thus did not give details) but simply a reminder for those such as yourself and others with a bit more understanding but it may have slipped your thoughts at the time.

Hello gavilaso, yes there is. Simply download the definition installer from here: http://www.gt500.org...es/database.jsp then put it on a flash drive and install it on the PC that isn't online. Do keep in mind however, that Malwarebytes' updates frequently and the definitions installer is usually behind.

Late to reply?
The update choice of times are "on the hour" in my latest ver.
How about a choice to update 3 times or 4 times a day or on the hour?
When I manually update thru the day & night, I usually get an update.
I think a paper on what to do when you have malware on your cpr and none of your AV or malware pgms will work would be greatly appreciated.
Seems to be the most common problem.
Your pgm is excellent and I appreciate it very much.

At manual update my MAM 1.38 version, after click at Check for updates, I became messege:
Database could not be findet, and then starts update, go fine, and at the end have new messege:
Database succesfully updated from 0 to (now)2329 version. Can somebody explain this: is this something about MAM's behavior, or my Lap haz another problems?

Initially it appears you did not have a good connection to the update site or dropped connection temporarily. The DB was then reloaded again from the update site.
You should be okay now. Do a Quick Scan and it will produce a log of anything it finds.

I am having updating problems. I get the error message 732 - no connection to the internet. I am connected when I get this message but I do have dial-up. Could this be the problem? I am not very computer wise but would appreciate any help. Thank you!
