Latest version-updated 5/31-Update error- Host not found

I updated to the latest and greatest version today 5/31 and now i cannot update. It says

'Program Error updating - no such host is known"

If it helps, i am a registered owner and have purchased this software.

Wanted to add, I didnt have any beta version of MBAM, and this was an "automatic update". First the definitions got updated and then the program itself. computer then rebooted and the this error showed up.

I have Win7 home premium 64 Bit

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Please do the following:

• Download and run mbam-clean.exe from here
  
• It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so very important
  
• After the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here
  
  
  
  • Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent via email if using the Pro version
    
  • Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates.
    Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the Pro version. Now setup any file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications. You may use the guides posted in the FAQ's here or ask and we'll explain how to do it.

I followed these steps to the T. It did not work! So, i tried it again and still did not work.

I keep getting the same error message as stated before. Help please?

I just had the same error a few minutes ago and I resolved the problem by repairing the Windows sockets with the aid of this tool...http://www.softpedia.com/dyn-postdownload.php?p=15337&t=4&i=1
