I run a quick scan with the new version of Mbam 1.35 free. The computer is freezing alwways on the file system C:\Windows\Installer\111 fa.msi

I have three PCs, and everything works fine on two of the three - freezes on the third. Several days ago, I updated to 1.35 - started a scan on the problem machine, and ran for about 15 minutes - then blue screen of death and a reboot. Looked at the event log and noticed a disk write error. Today, ran another scan. It ran for about three minutes - froze again. Noticed the same Paging Error - An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk1\D during a paging operation,
and message "The device, \Device\Ide\iaStor0, did not respond within the timeout period." Then rebooted and ran in safe mode. I have an HP7680 with a RAID controller that is configured in a non-RAID setting.
Not sure, but appears to me that the conflict is with the disk drivers, which have been recently updated.
Comments?

My quick scan on Vista. No freezing, but it stop for a few second and finished.
However, on my XP a quick & full scan would freeze. To remedy the problem, I turned off the Internet connection, thus completing the full scan with XP (PC). I have Norton 360 V2, MBAM, SAS, CCleaner, WD, Spywareblaster, Secunia, and Winpatrol.
What else do I need? 
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.36

i founnd that another program was conflicting, "glary utilities", i unistalled glary and ran ccleaner and downloaded latest version and is working again
