I think it would be a great idea to add an "exceptions list" for the IP blocker.... for some reason, Skype is being blocked on a friends laptop and the only way to get Skype to work is to temporarily turn off the website/IP blocker. I think if there was an exceptions list for the website/IP blocker, it would make things a bit easier and more secure: instead of completely disabling the feature, it could be programed to let certain IPs thru that normally would be blocked.

Just a thought for a future revision of MBAM.

Keep up the good work!

Greetings :)

This already exists. When an IP block occurs and you wish to allow the IP, right-click on the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware tray icon and use the Add to Ignore List menu to add the selected IP to the Ignore List. If you ever wish to remove the IP(s) from the Ignore List, they will be listed in the Ignore List tab in the main interface (scanner) of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.

Additional info on the IP blocker and how it works can be found in Section G of our FAQ located here :).
