Hello,

I got some malware on my computer and have been trying myself to get rid of it with no luck. I was recommended to this site by a friend. I downloaded and installed Malwarebytes' on the infected computer and it will not start. No errors or anything else. I am able to run HijackThis and some of Spybot-S&D. The known processes that I found to be malware are csrssc and one that was similar to winlogon but spelled different. I was able to get rid of the winlogon but not csrssc. I can get it to go away for some time but it eventual pops up. Other symptoms are a lot of web pages are restricted. My registry is restricted (I can get around this).

I hope I posted in the right place. If not I am sorry.

During this scan and cleanup process you should not install any other software unless requested to do so.

Thanks. I found that link and following those instructions. But like others, as I have been reading about, Malwarebytes wont even start after install.
