My name is Dave, aka IndiGenus in the forums.
Since being infected with the then nasty "About Blank" infection back around 2004 I have spent much of my time learning about Malware removal and helping others clean their machines. I have always been passionate about computers and how they work since my first Apple IIe (yes, I started on a Mac!) way back in 1984. Since then I have worked with and built many "IBM clones" from the original XT PC all the way up to the latest x86s.
As a graduate of both What The Tech and Geeks To Go Malware removal schools I've been trained by some of the best experts in the field. The Malware Removal field is constantly changing and evolving. This makes keeping up with the latest Malware and removal tools a real challenge, which is one of the things I love about it.
