Aye, now I understand.
It must have been a self evaluation coming from a humble assessment.

I never had a private computer till about 10 years ago. Keeping it clean and protected requires a lot of time and work as well as tenacity because most of the time nothing happens and you are seduced to relax. And then "boom". My opinion.
I have said it before and I'll state it again.
Like an automobile a computer is a system of systems. As such there is maintenance that needs to be performed.
In a car you change filters, change the oil, maintain tire air pressure, rotate tires, etc., and the list goes on.
Owning a computer is no different.
You have to change software for security. You have to update the OS and OS components, you have to schedule anti malware scans and disk defragmentation, optimize the loading of Terminate and Stay Resident (TSR) like software in the OS and applications like Browsers, etc, and the list goes on.
I am a strong believer is chaos theorem and specifically the Chaos and Complex Systems in a Computing Platform postulate.
You take care of your automobile and it will take care of you. Likewise you take care of your computer and it will take care of you.
The parallels are there, the understanding by the populace is not.

Interestingly, there can be a blur or on this subject. One can have a website named; www.mysite.com and at the same time there can be an executable file named; www.mysite.com.
In the case of a file it would be an example of a double-extension where the file has two "." (dots) in the name with the extension .COM . On the web, .com signifies a a top-level Domain being company. On a computer .com signifies a COMpiled program for CP/M and DOS operating systems and later versions of Windows inherit this file type as an executable file. Malicious actors use this confusion between the name of a web site and a disk file to get you infected. One can easily rename MALICIOUS_FILE.EXE to MALICIOUS.FILE.COM and often we see the ransomware trojans distributed using this methodology (ploy).
