About Me
Love to fish of which I do not get to do enough.

Have been studying on my own here at the Forum and at Bleeping Computer.
Amazing what you can learn when you just take the time to do so
Like to Blog on this subject just to help others as times are hard every where and to help family and friends or whoever may ask for help

2 over the top Mbam Pro's, absolutely perfect, Except for the start-up type changing back to Automatic. Back when Mbam made the change to Automatic start, On both Machines with Mbam Pro, they would hang up during start-up(appx. 30 sec's), Mbam icon being first in tray before anything else was loaded. Simply changed the start-up type back to Automatic(Delayed), end of issue. New versions come through and settings have to be re-set

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is not meant to be a replacement for antivirus software. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is a complementary but essential program which detects and removes zero-day malware and "Malware in the Wild". This includes malicious programs and files, such as virus droppers, worms, trojans, rootkits, dialers, spyware, and rogue applications that many antivirus programs do not detect or cannot fully remove. That being said, there are many infections that Malwarebytes Anti-Malware does not detect or remove which any antivirus software will, such as file infectors. It is important to note that Malwarebytes Anti-Malware works well and should run alongside antivirus software without conflicts. In some rare instances, exclusions may need to be set for your specific antivirus product to achieve the best possible system performance.
If you have any issues, then please ask and someone will assist you. Thank You

Hello jpinks,
Please take no action on these detections. Doing so would only corrupt the Mbam and SS&D programs. They are in my opinion False Positives. Even detecting Spybot Search n Destroy as a threat. Since this is a Avast detection(oops) it needs to be reported to them here under "New Topic"
