Why do I have to click "Start Protection" each time I start Malwarebytes?? How do I set it to start automatically?

Why does Malwarebytes NOT start automatically when Windows starts? I have to manually START Malwarebytes each time I re-boot. How can I set it to start automatically?

I thought the whole idea of paying for and registering the program was so that these features would be useable?? Please help.

I just noticed the same problem - I never had it before, but I have only had MalwareBytes for about a month. So I was thinking of just uninstalling the program, and reinstalling it, putting in my registration numbers in the new copy.

This is the message I received from the helpdesk. However, even after doing as it suggests, I still have to click "Start Protection" manually each time.

Hello and welcome to the helpdesk. Thank you for choosing Malwarebytes as your security solution, my name is Tom Mercado and I'll be assisting you today.
Open the protection tab and tick the box 'start with windows.
I would take a few minutes and read the help file to assist with other operations. the file is located in the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware folder

Please download this program onto your computer's desktop, run it (it will only take a few seconds), attach the new file it creates on your desktop to a reply.

To everyone that is having problems with the "Protection Module" NOT being enabled, I recieved the following instructions from Tom Mercado (help desk) and after doing exactly as stated, my program is working perfectly. Please contact Tom if you have any further problems.

Tom Mercado, Apr 02 01:26:

Lets start from scratch with a a custom uninstall using the following third party uninstaller
http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninst...e_download.html

Reboot the system.

Then run this clean up tool:
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-clean.exe

Reboot the system.

Then reinstall from the link below (downloads do not differ, registration with your ID & key activate the Pro features):
http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-...cdlPid=11004434

Then also be sure you're COPYING and PASTING the license key & ID directly from the confirmation email into the proper fields. Please also make sure you are only including the letters and numbers and not the words ID or Key. Leave in all dashes as well.

Finally, make sure there are not any additional spaces before or after the ID and Key. <<<This is crucial
