My wife's computer got infected yesterday with Spyware Protect 2009. She didn't have Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware nor could she download it due to the virus prevent internet usage. I was able to install Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from a USB Drive and was able to clean it, restarted the machine and ran another scan to be sure...that scan found nothing. However, this morning proved that we still have some lingering issues. I noticed one of the processes running in task manager called wscntfy.exe and found that it is associated with Spyware Protect. I ran Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and it said that the system was clean. I'm posting the latest Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware log as well as the Hijack This log. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
