I've read on various forums that this file is a trojan, a keylogger, or a rogue. So what exactly is mbam-dor.exe and should I allow it to run?
TonyKlein
It is an integral part of MBAM designed to deal with malware that is particularly hard to remove otherwise, so you should most certainly allow it to run...

The question does pop up from time to time, especially with regards to False Positives by various AVs, and it has repeately been discussed here : Linky

Incidentally, as these VirusTotal scan results show, not a single one of the 40 major AVs currently detects it, which would lead one to assume they may all finally have done their homework by now... wink.gif

If I'm not mistaken it is the Delete On Reboot driver, or mbam-dor.exe used for removing tough malware that can't be deleted while the system is running.
