I am fixing friends computer and it is running Windows Me. It had very lttle memory 64mb. I have 3 512mb coming to the house this will be maxed. I have removed every unneeded item on the computer but it only shows 1.13gb of free space on the hard drive. I want to run mwb but did not see this operating system listed. Any suggestions ? I am thinking I need to delete the hard drive and repartition with a copy of Win xp pro. I have used this program on my daughters Dell gx260 and mwb did a great job.

No I'm sorry but Malwarebytes Anti-Malware does not run on any version of Windows below Windows 2000

I believe Avast still supports Windows 9x system though and most users seem to like the program.

Support for avast! on Win9X/ME will end at the end of 2009 and I doubt avast! will run in as little as 64MB RAM:

Well considering that ME was the last of the Windows 9x series and it will be 9 years old next month that's a long time to support an old Operating System.
