please implement this feature as soon as possible, I actually having nothing other than battery level indicator on my system.

It is in the works but I do not have a date when it will be available.

You can hide the icon using the ordinary Windows Taskbar interface (Start -> Settings -> Taskbar and Start Menu -> Taskbar -> Hide inactive icons -> Customize), but this does not turn the protection module off.
