I previously installed and successfully ran Malwarebytes. That was about 3 months ago and it was used against WinPC.
The WinPC issue started up again and I am now unable to run Malwarebytes. I am also unable to uninstall the program.
McAfee VirusScan is also not working. The scan will run for about a minute and then terminate.
I was able to download and use SUPERAntiSpyware, but unfortunately it is not taking care of the problem. It will scan and quarantine the files, but it doesn't seem to actually work for isolating or removing them. After I reboot, I can run the program again, and the same infected files are collected, quarantined, and then it says they are being removed (but they are not).
