I have recently purchased a new custom built PC on which Malwarebytes was installed. The first time I ran it after buying the PC it found two infections which I removed. However, when I next came to boot up the PC it couldn't even run through the BIOS until I isntalled the Windows disk and did a repair - not a good start for a new PC! I have now run Malwarebytes again and the same infection has re-appeared giving the following logfile:
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.37

Windows 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3

Is this infection real or is it a false postive? I don't want to find I can't boot the PC again if I remove the alleged infections. If they are real how do I stop them getting back on my PC if they are real? I use AVG free as my anti-virus and it finds nothing when run and the Windows firewall.
Thanks for any help on this one.
