as far as I know you shouldn't find any conflicts. If you do, please post and someone with more knowledge than I should be able to help you figure out how to put MBAM on the allowed list/exceptions with NOD32.

I don't think it will slow your computer performance to run both. Malwarebytes is pretty light on system resources. I am running AVG Internet Security and MBAM Pro together, and they seem to be fine together and not slowing down anything

Are you running the paid or free version of Malwarebytes?

Oh, okay. The reason I was asking was because if it was the free version there shouldn't be any interference (as far as I know) but with a paid version there could be a potential issue, which is (again, as far as I know) generally fixable. Usually you just need to allow mbam to an exceptions or allowed list.

I can't assist you any further than this. If you experience any problems please let someone more knowledgeable than I know and they can assist you in getting your programs to work together in harmony

Both Free & PRO versions need to have files added to exclusion lists in av and\or firewalls.

Thanks for letting me know this. I had just assumed that since the free version was not running in the background of the computer all the time, it didn't need to have any files added to exclusions.

I haven't had any issues with my AVG (AV & Firefall in my case) thus far with free or PRO (just bought it about 3-4 days ago ), thankfully.

From our Administrator some good points to read:

I do apologize for the trouble but in almost every case it has been due to the customers Anti-Virus blocking our new version. The Anti-Malware and Virus field has become much more complicated and those writing the Malware are using more and more sophisticated methods to get onto your box and hide or disable other tools so we, along with the Anti-Virus makers, have had to step up methods to help prevent infections which has also made it more difficult to install other Security Products as well. Though by now these other Anti-Virus vendors know for a fact that we've updated our program and they could very easily do fingerprint analysis of our program and place it within their built-in Trusted Applications list, but many of them do not.

Please review this article and even if you have previously setup or done this method please try again but adapted to your version of Anti-Virus or other Security Tools. Anti-Virus is not the only tool capable of blocking either the program but also updates. Firewalls also automatically block our new version because the fingerprint does not match the previously allowed version, often not alerting because many users either don't enable that feature or they get tired of alerts and turn it off. If you review your other security programs you will probably find deep in the logs where one or more programs are blocking the newer version of MBAM.

Again, please review this post and adapt for your own security software which can be more than just AV blocking.

I've not had to add anything to any exclusion lists on any of my systems either and things run fine. Go figure.

I have used both the paid and free versions of MBAM with NOD32 v4.0 for some time now, on XP MCE/SP3.

No conflicts seen, nor any slowing of performance.
