JV16 found and removed c:/windows/system/GKSui18.EXE from my system. I did a Google search and it is supposed to be a Trojan. Interestingly enough, Malwarebytes did not detect it. I have the latest update installed.

Seems to be an uninstaller? Any chance JV 16 has a backup of the exe you had?

Are just a few of the sites that seem to think it is a Trojan. As for your question, yes I have a backup. I do not intent to install it; however, unless there is a proven reason to.

Yes; however, not until Tuesday. I am not at my office where I discovered that file doing a routine check of the system. Interestingly enough, I don't think it was there last week since it never showed up on the scan.
