Full Version: Malwarebytes not removing trojan

I got this virus last night and since then my computer has been through hell. I try to boot the computer in Safe Mode but it gives me the blue screen of death with something that says STOP: 0x0000007b. I'm pretty sure the virus is doing this because I was in safe mode last week with no problems. I started the computer up and using task manager I ended the files that made the virus start and from there I used Malwarebytes to remove it. It said I had like 100 infected.

Malwarebytes told me to reboot and I did, now I get a different virus. In task manager it copys the file names so "taskmgr.exe" becomes "taskmgr .exe" and it loads like 10 svchost.exe. If I try to end one of them, I get the 60 seconds until shut down message. I ended it with shutdown -a and tryed malwarebytes again and got around 20. Then restarted.

Now I get a message that says "Windows File Protection- Files that are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecongnized versions. Insert your windows XP pro service pack 2 now". (I don't have the cds.) And still I'm getting the "filename .exe" stuff, but the 60 second count down stopped. Scaned and I'm still getting around 14-20 objects infected.

Anyway, I'm new (to all this dry.gif ), so I hope you can help me.

Heres the MBAM log:

I also have the first MBAM log if you need it

As of right now it seems every time I restart it does something random. Like it will take away my internet, internet options become a blank folder. But sometimes it doesn't.

PLEASE HELP!
AdvancedSetup
Please visit this webpage for instructions for downloading ComboFix to your DESKTOP : how-to-use-combofix
Please ensure you read this guide carefully and install the Recovery Console first.
NOTE!!: You must save and run ComboFix.exe on your DESKTOP and not from any other folder.
Also, DO NOT click the mouse or launch any other applications while this is running or it may stall the program

Additional links to download the tool:

Note: The Windows Recovery Console will allow you to boot up into a special recovery (repair) mode. This allows us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware. It is a simple procedure that will only take a few moments of your time.

Once installed, you should see a blue screen prompt that says:

The Recovery Console was successfully installed.

Please continue as follows:
  • Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.
  • Click Yes to allow ComboFix to continue scanning for malware.
  • When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.
  • Please post the C:\ComboFix.txt along with a new HijackThis log so we may continue cleaning the system.
