Hi - My computer is infected with a virus. I've had a similar one before, but for some reason, none of the anti-spyware/anti-virus software I've tried can pick it up. I downloaded Malwarebytes but keep getting a run time error message, so it won't let me open the program. Here are the log files from HijackThis. I can't seem to access the log files for Malwarebytes because a) I can't open the program due to the runtime errors, and when I go in through documents & settings, there is no log option. All I get is C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Rules.

Can you please help me by responding via email? Thank you!

It's another new variation on Vundo - I'm in the process of dealing with a PC that has the same infection. Your main culprets are:

There will also be a few invalid entries in the HOSTS file that need to be removed - I fixed this manually, so I'm not positive if Malwarebytes fixes this or not.

I did a full scan in safe mode after disabling System Restore & rebooting and Malwarebytes detected it & removed it. (I will say it took a few rounds cuz I forgot to clean out the temp files first.)

I should have also mentioned that before installing Malwarebytes & scanning with it I had removed the invalid host entries, and I also killed the viral process (which in your case is yllfsysguard.exe) by using Process Explorer (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx) - It showed up as the last item in the list. I don't know if that made a difference in my ability to scan, but it at least stopped the annoying 'Antivirus System Pro' popup from continuously getting in the way of any other windows.
