I am seriouse hosed. Looks like both PC_Antispyware2010 and Antivirus Pro have gotten hold of my laptop. Everything went to hell in a handbasket within seconds yesterday.

Malwarebytes won't run. McAfee won't run. Internet Explorer won't run. Firefox won't run. I CANNOT connect to the internet. It seems to have hosed the Linksys router too.

I tried renaming MBAM but can't. I was able to download procexp.exe on another PC to a removeable disk. It will run but I can't find anything that stands out.

If I could only figure out how to get Malwarebytes to run I'm confident it'll fix things.

Let me also add, on start up a dos window comes up with despot.exe then goes away. Anytime I attempt to access a control panel function I get C:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe The Parameter is incorrect. Also it seems once I do run an application it no longer will run. I attempted to run procexp again to no avail.

Download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post please post the one that is not minimized.



Next, or if that does not work, please run a GMER Rootkit scan:

Download GMER's application from here:
http://www.gmer.net/gmer.zip

Unzip it and start the GMER.exe
Click the Rootkit tab and click the Scan button.

Once done, click the Copy button.
This will copy the results to your clipboard.
Paste the results in your next reply.

Warning ! Please, do not select the "Show all" checkbox during the scan.

• When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.
