I'm often testing various configurations on my system where I will attach a drive for some test (internal, or external USB or eSATA) I'd like to have an option that I could scan just the drive I added. Sometimes I have 20 drives attached to my system and it is not necessary to scan all 20 drives if 19 have already been scanned. I currently use Kaspersky 2010 as my AV and it has this function. Example, I plug in any USB drive or thumb drive it will pop-up a window asking if I want to scan the drive. In todays world thumb drives float from system to system and it is so easy to pick up something from an infected system, this auto scanning pop-up is an excellent layer of protection.

ops, I see that I do have an option to select the desired drive when I kick off a full scan.... but I do like the idea of a pop-up when I add a new drive.
