Hello

A suggesstion:

Can you provide facilities to download mbam soft. directly from the homepage?

Because at times the download link takes to some unknown sites, which we don't know whether that site is genuine (ie authorised by mbam) or not.

Download the installer name is mbam-setup (this link generates some of our 'official' download sites, not just malwarebytes.org, downloads do not differ, registration with your ID & key activate the Pro features):

Pay close attention to the actual download link. Many download sites have big giant sponsored ads from other vendors of other types of software which may confuse you. That's how they make money, by placing these ads prominently so you see them first.

Ignore all 'Recommended' or 'Sponsored' downloads, these will be the ads. Save the file to your desktop then double-click it to begin installation.

Perhaps it might be useful to provide a second download mirror for the free version (e.g. MajorGeeks.com)? I always tell family, friends and acquaintances to download MBAM from MajorGeeks, as I think this might be more safe.

When you click the download free version, it takes you to some unknown sites, at times.
I am from India.
But most of the times it leads you to cnet.com, thats reliable site.

Fyi: Before clicking download links of softs I always clear the browser cache & also delete the .temp files, just for safety.

I welcome your comments.

That is a rotating .php script, there are about 3 other sites that come up, Major Geeks, and a couple of others. I can't recall them just now. Any site that comes up is an approved site.

We don't host anything on our servers due to attacks.

Edit: Downloads do not differ. Registration with key & ID unlock PRO features in Free version

I fully deleted all MBAM in case it was ever confused with Beta - From Australia, I Googled it, and went to what appeared to be the "genuine"
Malwarebytes site and was redirected to C net also - I did not check if there was other sites but this appeared to direct you to the home site -
