Please can anybody tell me how to turn of the notice popups like [font="Trebuchet MS"]'MB has successfully blocked...'[/font] There must be a setting but I can't find it

The option you're looking for is actually only accessible through the registry currently. Please review this post for details on how to create and modify the registry keys and values to change the behavior of the IP Protection.

Thanks for that - it just that I get notifications every couple of minutes with that annoying 'POP' noise lol

Yeah, I understand. That's one of the reasons they added those options, because many users requested it . It usually pops up frequently when you're running software that connects to many IP's at once such as P2P software such as LimeWire, Bittorrent etc.

BitTorrent? never heard of it lol BTW how do you edit / delete posts on here?

There's a policy in place that no users with less than 50 posts may edit their posts, this is primarily because there were issues with some users making modifications to info, such as diagnostic logs etc, that they shouldn't have. It's unfortunate, but a few bad apples spoiled it for everyone .
