Allow the poster to Edit the post after it has been submitted. Often, someone realizes that he forgot something important.

You need a certain number of posts before you have the ability to use the EDIT feature. I can assure you it's there.

When I started on the forum I did add extra items in a first post - Some of this was useful to the experts - Even though I did not realise it -
You may find that if you edited a post, you may not add all the information that was required -
The experts quite often seem to prefer to have more information rather than less - I have noticed if you want help more information can be better -
You could then add extra items/posts as well if they were relevent -

Due to abuse by a few users we've had to set the post level for edits to 50.

It can be done by Moderators and Administrators, but not by anyone else.
