Morning everyone,

I have been looking for a solution to Conficker worm. I looked into Malware Removal Guide however did not find anything related to Conficker. Is it possible to find out if Malware Bytes can remove Conficker worm?

Many thanks . I was asking about the removal function of Conficker Worm as in terms of Additional section under "Malware Removal Guides and Self Help Guides", hence asked in a general section of the forum .

That said, I will in future post a log of the results found under an appropriate section of the forum to get faster help .

This is a very old worm and has been dealt with now for a long time.

1. Make sure your system has ALL the latest Microsoft critical updates.
2. Make sure you're running a continuous protection Anti-Virus product and that you get updates daily.


If items 1 and 2 are taken care of it's pretty much impossible to have this worm now days.
