I have a portable hard disk that I store music and data on. Lately after I open a file it encrypts the file and changes the name to gibberish. I tried running Malwarebytes and it starts to run but keeps giving error 721 (0,5).
I have to assume the malware is keeping the program from running/detecting the rouge files.
Is there a way to force the program to run?
Has anyone ever heard of this malware?
