Hello, i got a costumer with the Antivirus XP virus.
After reading a lot of websites i found that Malwarebytes remove the virus, so i used it.

After a full scan and found 46 files infected many of them in System32 folder, the malwarebytes software ask me to restar the computer, so i did it.
Now Windows doesnt start, everytime the PC gets to the Windows XP Home loading screen the PC reboots itself, even when i try to boot in Safe Mode.

Is there any posibility the system wont work anymore, do i have to reinstall Windows, or may i just repair it?
My costumer doesnt want to reinstall the software and i dont have any other option.

Can u guys tell me what happened and what i can do?

Thank you for ur help.

If the computer was that corrupted and/or the infection that bad, then I would think about running windows xp as a repair disk,
that's why I keep several versions of xp with sp3 slipstreamed

You could also try system restore from a command prompt

There are some tools and methods to attempt a repair from different levels. Please look in the Computer Help section for some tools that might help and if you need further assistance please let me know.

I've seen the OP's problem several times. A repair-install always fixes it.
