Hi,

I am using comodo firewall, After I downloaded the malwarebytes installer from download.com, I clicked on the installer icon. I got a popup from my comodo firewall, it said explorer.exe is trying to connect to a ip address on port 53, the ip address is my isp dns server. Is it normal? or my pc has been compromised ? I do not have any popups from other installers. Please advise, thank you.

Greetings and welcome to the forum. I'm not sure, but it could just be because MBAM tries to update when you first install it, but it depends on how far into the installation you got. I would just make sure that the PC is running OK and do an update and quick scan with Malwarebytes' to make sure there's nothing amiss.
