May have found the problem, I think is was my external hard drive causing an issue. I unplugged it and things are better. Plugged it into my laptop and same thing there. It tells me that I have to reformat the drive. I had this problem before about formatting the drive. Maybe drive is failing. It is a WD mynote book

Thanks for the help. I will not get back to you untill tomorrow. I cannot access the pc right now. I use logmein to access it and they must have shut the computer down.
