Where can I find updated MBAM / AV exclusions ?

Recommended Posts

Hi

I would like to start installing MBAM pro on my customer's computers. I usually install AVG free alongside and it is currently at version 2013. Sometimes I retain the AV that my customer installed on the PC. I found instructions in these forums for setting up a previous version of AVG but not version 2013. Before I install MBAM pro on a bunch of machines I would like to know that MBAM will provide updated instructions for most of the common AV programs out there. MBAM advertises that it is intended to run alongside a AV program so I think it is fair to ask they provide documentation for doing it. If this already exists please let me know where to find it.

Thanks

Hello and welcome: :)

Until one of the MBAM staffers arrives...

Since your post suggests that you are a computer technician, reseller or other business, your license entitles you to free support from the corporate helpdesk.

You may contact them >>HERE<<.

They can assist you one-on-one with any specific issues or problems setting up AV exclusions.

As far as specifics for exclusions for various AVs, it's nearly impossible to keep up and updated with all of the major AV vendors and their program updates. :(

Some examples of popular AVs can be found in the FAQ >>HERE<<.

Some generic instructions follow below.

Note: Once that's done, please make sure that if either of those programs has any sort of web filter, that you add the following as a trusted site:
