Odd error message

Hello -

Very odd and (to me) new Error message while trying to load MBAM

 

Run time error 53

File not found: advpack

 

MBAR installed and ran OK without errors, SAS found a few minor items and McAfee was replaced with MSE due to working problems -

 

Has this error message been seen, or is this unknown ?

Is this via a remote desktop or other remote support session?

Actually in looking at that topic it could still be screwed up.  It appears to be an error downloading not running if I read right?

 

I would recommend running an FRST

 

The VSS errors can potentially be very critical as the underlying system needs that.

 

The flash updater could be a bogus one as well.  FRST might flush that out as well

Will do. Just trying to keep it out of Malware Removal, as wait time is 2 to 3 days -

Not the first Flash Updater problem this week, seems to be "growing".

 

I hoped that WhiteSmoke and that Fake Optimizer removal may have helped, but, still working -
