Help - Pum.bad.proxy

Recommended Posts

Hi Hope someone can help with this.

I'm trying to fix a friends laptop (Windows 8.1 64 bit), they said it was running really slow and they had difficulty accessing the internet.

I 've installed Malwarebytes (and tried some other tools) and on the first run malwarebytes got rid of 570 bits of malware.  However, I can't get rid of pum.bad.proxy. It comes up after every run.

I've tried deleting the registry key that gets reported in the malwarebytes log but it still comes back.

I have attached some logfiles from Farbar that might help.

Thanks Robin
