All downloads either hang or corrupted, shockwave also stalls -hijackthis log

Hi everyone,

When I download through my browser (no matter which one Firefox, Chrome or IE) my downloads hang at the 1 sec mark or are corrupted when it finishes. I also have problems when streaming either youtube or when going to a shockwave flash site as it just hangs unless I refresh over and over again (sometimes it works or it stalls in the same place). I have licensed versions of malwarebytes and eset nod, and it shows no signs of malware when scanning the default c drive. I've cleared my caches and cookies using ccleaner (free version). Another strange thing is windows explorer seems to fail often as well and has to be restarted also when I right click on files. Strangely torrents and nzbs seem to work ok....

Thanks for your time and attention to this matter, I'm at my wits end and I don't want to reformat my drive....
