detsi Posted March 16, 2015 ID:947829 Share Posted March 16, 2015 (edited) Any opinions on this? I installed it and ran a scan today. I did find some hidden malware tucked away and removed it. I was quite impressed. Then I did some research and clicked on the manufacureres' website: Reason Software Company Inc. and WOT flagged up a red warning. Now I'm not so sure. 1PW Posted March 16, 2015 ID:947836 Share Posted March 16, 2015 Hello detsi: The application has been using the work product of other developers without legal permissions. The moment it is monetized, the lawsuits should should start flying. Please do not support that application. Thank you.

detsi Posted March 17, 2015 Author ID:948219 Share Posted March 17, 2015 Yeah, I have since considered that, bearing in mind that MBAM,Avast and ESET found nothing. But I have git rid now. I do not want a 'security' product in my armoury whose manufacturers receive a red warning from WOT and uses illegally aquired products.
Aura Posted March 23, 2015 ID:949898 Share Posted March 23, 2015 I wouldn't use it to be honest since with that many scanners included in it, I'm sure there'll be false positives flying left and right and if an Antivirus ever pushes a bad update that target Windows system files, you could crash your OS in a few minutes.
